Accessing the funds in your account without your ONE card

Beginning February 8, 2023, fees for this feature may apply for customers without qualifying direct deposits. Review our Deposit Account Agreement for more information.

How do I access the money in my ONE account before my card arrives?

While you wait for your ONE card to arrive, you can access the money in your ONE account the following ways:

Virtual Card

You have a virtual card that is connected to your Spend Pocket. You can use your virtual card to shop online, make payments, or anywhere you are able to enter card information to complete a purchase. You can also add your virtual card to your digital wallet to make contactless purchases.

Where is my virtual card?

To see your virtual card information:

  • Log into your ONE account
  • Tap the card icon in the top left corner
  • Toggle the Show Card Information button ON, and your virtual card information will then be displayed

How do I add my virtual card to my digital wallet?

To connect your ONE card to Apple Pay on an iPhone:

  • From your Spend tab, select the Vector.png icon in the top right corner to access the My Card menu
  • Select Add to Apple Wallet
  • Follow the steps provided by Apple to complete the process

To connect your ONE card to Google Pay on an Android device:

  • From your Spend tab, select the Vector.png icon in the top right corner to access the My Card menu
  • Select Add to Google Pay

Barcode

If you are a Walmart Associate, you can use your ONE app to generate a barcode which can be used to withdraw cash at participating Money Centers or Customer Service Desks at Walmart.

How do I withdraw cash using a barcode at Walmart?

  • Log in to your ONE app
  • Navigate to the Pocket you would like to withdraw funds from
  • Tap on Move $
  • Select Withdraw Cash
  • Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
  • A barcode will be generated that you will take to a Walmart Customer Service or a Money Center Associate
  • The Walmart Associate will scan your barcode and verify your identity*
  • Once approved, you will receive your requested cash along with a receipt for your transaction

*Please note that you will need to verify your identity using an accepted form of government-issued ID. Acceptable forms of government-issued ID include a State ID or Driver’s License, Military ID, Social Security Card along with a US government-issued picture ID, or U.S. Passport.

Transfer funds

To transfer funds to an external account, you will need to link the account to your ONE account.

How do I link my external account to my ONE account?

We use Plaid to connect your external bank to your ONE account to securely and easily transfer funds at your convenience.

To connect your external bank to ONE:

  • Open the ONE app or visit one.app
  • From the Spend tab, tap the icon of your initial in the upper left corner to access the account menu
  • Select Linked Accounts
  • Select Link a new bank account
  • You should see a popup: ONE uses Plaid to link your bank
  • Tap or click Get started
  • Use the search field to find your external bank and enter your login credentials for your external account to finish the process

Once connected, you will be able to transfer funds in and out of ONE. Transfers take up to 4 business days to complete. Please be sure that any external accounts connected to your ONE account are in your name.

Peer-to-peer payment apps

How do I use ONE with peer-to-peer payment apps like Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and others?

You can send funds to and from your ONE account using peer-to-peer service apps such as Cash App, Venmo, Paypal, and others. This is typically done by linking your ONE card or account and routing numbers through these third-party services.

Please note that ONE does not charge any fees for these types of transfers, but the peer-to-peer service may.

We are not directly integrated with Zelle. As a result, some transfers to and from your ONE account may not be supported.
