What is One to One?
One to One is a free and simple way for One customers to send and receive money with friends, family or co-workers. Money sent through One to One can only be transferred to a One Cash Account. If the recipient does not have a One Cash account, you can sync your contacts to send them money via One to One, but they must open a One Cash account one within 10 days of the money being sent, or it will be returned to the sender.
How do I get One to One?
You only need to enroll once before transferring funds to someone. Existing One customers do not need to enroll to receive funds.
To enroll in One to One:
- Open Cash Control in the One app
- Select One to One
- You will have the option to sync your current contacts
- You will receive a username to share when using One to One
- If you are sending funds to a recipient who hasn’t joined One yet, you will need to sync your contacts
- Click on Use One to One

How do I use One to One?
To transfer funds instantly using One to One:
- Open Cash Control in the One app
- Select One to One
- Identify the person you want to send funds to and the amount
- Click on Send Cash
You can also tap here and select the One to One icon to transfer funds in the One app.
One to One transfers can only be transferred to a One Cash account. If a recipient does not already have an account, you must sync your contacts to send them money via One to One. They must open an account within 10 days, otherwise the money will be returned to you.
Will my Overdraft Protection work with One to One?
You are not able to use Overdraft Protection to send funds with One to One.
Are there any limits on how much I can send or receive with One to One?
The amount of funds you are able to send and receive via One to One may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to whether you are a One Cash+ customer and how long you have had your One Cash account. We cannot increase your monthly limit at your request.
Can I cancel a One to One payment I sent to someone outside One?
You can cancel an external One to One payment within 10 days of sending it or until the recipient accepts it.
To cancel your One to One payment:
- Navigate to the Debit section of your One app.
- Under the activity ledger, tap on the One to One transfer you wish to cancel.
- Tap on Cancel Payment.
- Select Yes, cancel from the cancel payment confirmation box
Note:
- The Cancel Payment button will only appear if the payment has not been accepted.
- If the payment has not been accepted for up to 10 days, it will be canceled automatically.
- The transaction will disappear from the activity ledger after successful cancellation.
How to send money safely with One to One?
One to One is a way to instantly send money from your account to your friends and family. It's important that you only send money to people you trust. You should verify and double-check the recipient information before confirming a payment, and it’s best not to exchange payments with people you do not know
Does One to One offer purchase protection?
One to One does not offer purchase protection. You should be aware of payment scams and fraud schemes. One to One should not be used to pay people you do not know personally.
I was tricked into sending a One to One payment; what do I do?
If you were tricked or persuaded into authorizing a One to One payment and did not receive what was expected, this may be considered a scam. Since you authorized the payment, you may not be able to get your money back. Contact our customer support or say Agent in chat as soon as possible and report the transaction if you fell victim to a scam.
