How do I apply for an account?
You can start the application for a One Cash account by scanning the QR code on one.app with your mobile phone, or by downloading the One app and tapping the “Join One” button after opening the app.
Start by entering your mobile phone number and receiving a one-time use passcode verification message. Mobile phone numbers outside of the US or landlines will not be accepted. After confirming your phone number, you will be prompted to enter your legal name, date of birth, physical address, and Social Security number.
It is possible that during the application process you may need to submit a picture of your current government-issued identification.
What are the eligibility requirements?
You must be at least 18 years old, have a U.S. based physical residential address, have a mobile phone number, and be issued a Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to apply for an account with One.
What information do I need to apply?
When you apply, you will need to provide your full legal name, U.S. physical address, date of birth, Social Security number, mobile phone number, email address, and possibly a copy of your government-issued photo identification or a utility bill.
This information helps us protect your data and mitigate fraud in order to provide you with the most safe and secure financial services.
What if I was declined?
One uses third-party data sources to validate personal information and, in some cases, a driver’s license or passport that you provide as a part of your account application. If we cannot verify the information provided, the application is declined. If your application is denied, we are not able to offer you an account with One.
Will applying for a One Cash account affect my credit score?
Applying for a One Cash account does not impact your credit score. Your Social Security number (SSN) is used to verify your identity.
