How do I apply for an account?
You can start your One Cash account application by scanning the QR code on one.app with your mobile phone, or downloading the One app from the App Store or Play Store and tapping the “Join One” button in the app.
Start by entering your mobile phone number and receiving a one-time use passcode verification message. Mobile phone numbers outside of the US or landlines will not be accepted. After confirming your phone number, you will be prompted to enter your legal name, date of birth, physical address, and Social Security number or Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
You may need to submit a picture of your current government-issued identification and a photo of yourself.
What are the eligibility requirements?
You must be at least 18 years old, have a U.S. based physical residential address, and mobile phone number, and be issued a Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to apply for an account with One.
What information do I need to apply?
When you apply, you will need to provide your full legal name, U.S. physical address, date of birth, Social Security number or ITIN, mobile phone number, email address, and possibly a copy of your government-issued photo identification or a utility bill.
What if I was declined?
One uses third-party data sources to validate personal information and, in some cases, your driver’s license or passport as part of your account application. If we cannot verify the information provided, we deny your application and are unable to offer you an account with One.
Will applying for a One Cash account affect my credit score?
No, applying for a One Cash account does not impact your credit score.
