How do I activate my card?
- Sign in to your ONE account
- Tap the
icon to access the Card menu
- Select Activate Card
- Enter the requested details to verify your card information
- Set a four-digit PIN
Please make sure you have your physical card with you to reference when you’re activating your card.
When will I get my first debit card?
Your ONE card will arrive via USPS within 7-10 business days after you open your account.
How do I set and reset my PIN?
If you would like to update the PIN for your card, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your ONE account
- Tap the
icon to access the My Card menu
- Select Change Card PIN
- Enter and confirm your new pin
- Select Set PIN
- Your PIN will be reset and immediately ready for use
What if I lose my card?
If your card is lost or stolen, please immediately report your card as Lost or Stolen within the app to deactivate it and prevent unauthorized purchases. A new ONE card will automatically be sent to the mailing address on file. You can do so by following the steps below:
- Log in to your ONE account
- Tap the
icon to access the Card menu
- Select Report Lost or Stolen Card
- A new debit card will be sent to the mailing address on file
Note: If you have a ONE Retail Card (that has not been activated, or that is activated for Limited-use), keep it in a safe place and treat your card like cash, as it cannot be replaced.
How do I freeze my card?
If your card is lost or stolen or you detect suspicious activity, you can freeze your card immediately from within the ONE app or via our website to prevent further card transactions. To freeze your ONE debit card, please use the following steps:
- Log in to your ONE account
- Tap the
icon to access the Card menu
- Select the option to toggle it to OFF next to Freeze Physical Card
If you need to unfreeze your ONE debit card, just follow these steps again and toggle the Freeze Card button back ON. Your card will be active and able to process purchases again immediately.
How do I order a replacement card?
If your debit card is damaged, you can order a new card without terminating your existing card by following these steps
- Log in to your ONE account
- Tap the
icon to access the Card menu
- Select Replace Damaged Card
- A new ONE card with your existing numbers will be sent to your mailing address on file
You can continue to use your card until the new one arrives and is activated. Your new card will have the same card number as your old card but a different expiration date and security code (CVC).
Note: If you have a ONE Retail Card (that has not been activated or that is activated for Limited-use), keep it in a safe place and treat your card like cash, as it cannot be replaced.
Can I buy a ONE Retail Card at Walmart to use on my account?
If you already have a ONE account and purchase a Retail ONE Card from Walmart, whatever money you deposited on your ONE Retail Card will be added to your existing ONE account Checking balance. The ONE Retail Card will be deactivated.
If we are unable to offer you a full ONE account, and you already have existing ONE Retail Card(s) that are activated for your account with certain restrictions (such as if your card is already Limited-use), your new ONE Retail Card will be activated separately and your balances will not be combined. You can access the balances of your multiple Limited-use ONE Retail Cards from “Chat” on your Profile page.
How long is a temporary ONE Retail Card active?
If you bought a ONE Retail Card and were approved for a full ONE account, the temporary card will be deactivated 120 days after you purchased it. That card can still be used for purchases but can no longer accept deposits. Shortly after you have activated your ONE Retail Card, you will be prompted within your ONE account to verify your mailing address for us to ship a permanent ONE debit card to you.
